Advice and Guidance – Ask Us

The world of mobility aids can be rather overwhelming at first. There’s such an array of daily living aids, where do you start?

So, we, at Ability Superstore thought that we could help you navigate through every step, from walking sticks to bathing aids to dining aids and everything in between.

We hope that you will find this new column useful and, if you’ve got any questions you would like answered, then please send them across to heretohelp@abilitysuperstore.com

We want to help you with all your queries and questions you may have about mobility products and disability aids.

Initially, we will launch our ‘Ask Us’ column with answers to questions that our in-house, friendly customer service team are regularly asked. This way you can look on our website and find a solution to a query without having to pick up the phone or Google for the answer.

We Also Need Your Help

For ‘Ask Us’ to be a really useful mobility aids feature, we would like your help, please.

Our customers know better than anyone else the kind of questions that don’t get answered by some mobility aid suppliers, or big online stores like Amazon.

Here at Ability Superstore, we pride ourselves on our customer service, providing good accurate advice and regular updates on the status of your order, unlike many of our competitors or online marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay.

Whether it is a bathroom grab rail or an outdoor step, you know that you can call or email us and chat to the same people in our customer service team.

Unlike larger online presences, our customer service team are entirely human and based here in the UK, in the same building as our warehouse.

So, not only can you be sure that you won’t have to ‘talk’ to any robots, but if you have a question about a product, our team can get it from the warehouse, take it out of the box and talk you through the answer while you are on the phone, without having to be placed in a queue for half an hour, or be put through to four different departments!

Send Us Your Questions

It is as simple as that! Any questions you would like answering, please let us know. The 'Ask Us' column will appear regularly and, in time, anyone looking at our website will be able to browse this knowledge base.

Please don’t think your question is too trivial for us, whatever our customers want to know is incredibly important to us. If we can help to make your life a little bit better and a little bit easier, helping you or a loved one live independently, then we can go home at night with a smile on our faces.

You may want to know whether to get a bath seat or a bath board? Or what type of grab rail to choose?

It could be a question about how to set up a walking aid, or how an outdoor step works. Whatever it is, we will do our best to answer it for you!

How Do You Make Contact?

The best way is to send us an email at heretohelp@abilitysuperstore.com but by all means feel free to call us if you would to speak to an actual person!

You can call us for free on 0800 2550498 or on 0161 850 0844.

If you follow us on Facebook, we will also publish it there and you can also let us know your questions on our Facebook page, either through a private message or as a comment on any of our 'Ask Us' posts.

We would also be grateful if you could spread the word about our 'Ask Us' column. Tell a friend, share a Facebook post, anything that will let more people know about our new advice column.
