Last Minute Travel & Holiday Essentials

Posted by Emily Ryan on

We are about to head into August and summer starts to cool down, if you’re not quite ready to give up the summer sun just yet and are planning a last minute getaway, we have some top travel picks and ideas!

Making the most of a journey

Whether it’s by car, plane or train, getting the most out of your time travelling is the best way to kick off a holiday.

Reading is an enjoyable and relaxing way to pass the time on a journey. Every book lover knows how good reading accessories are, whether it’s a funky bookmark or reading rest, they can really add to the reading experience and add a splash of personality to your travel bag.

Products: Really tiny booklight, ‘Oh!” illuminated magnifier, The travel book rest, V&A bookmarks.

Making your journey comfortable is important, especially on flights. Remember to take some time to do some exercises on flights or take a break while driving to keep your energy up. Staying hydrated is important on journeys and can be easy with handy travel bottles.

Products:    Supersoft memory foam neck cushions, Collapsible water bottle,  Gel ball hand exercisers.

Keeping in the kids entertained

Travelling with children isn’t the easiest when it comes to ideas for keeping them entertained, especially on long journeys. Classic travel board games are always a good idea or have a family game of cards to get everyone involved. If they’re a bit of a doodler, having pen and paper to hand is always essential!

Products: Wild animal playing cards, Robin wheelchair rucksack, Playing card holder, Bookaroo pen pouch.
