For those who suffer from hip problems, or have recently gone through hip replacement surgery, this handy recovery kit is the ideal thing to help you with your daily living. The Hip Replacement Recovery Kit is a mobility aid that will make all the difference.
Inside the pack is a lightweight folding reacher with a magnetic tip, a flexible sock/stocking aid, a circular cushion and a long-handled plastic shoehorn.
This toolkit will provide you with the support you need, preventing you from hurting yourself and giving you a sense of freedom and independence around your home.
This handy toolkit is an ideal mobility aid that will help you complete simple, everyday tasks. The reacher is 81.2 cm (32 inches), and contains a magnetic tip to assist you when reaching for small metal items, such as paper clips, or pins. It folds which makes it ideal for easy storage when not in use. The handle of the grabber is sturdy and easy-to-squeeze, giving you enough space for two, or more fingers.
The handy kit also contains a flexible sock/stocking aid, which can be used to roll up your socks to create an opening to ease your foot into, staying on the sock aid until you pull it up over your ankle. Its easy application makes dressing all the more simple.
As well as these handy tools, the mobility aid also contains a soft transfer swivel cushion. (PLEASE NOTE: this item is now blue and not black as shown in the photograph.) This allows for a smooth swivel transfer without painful jarring, or twisting, preventing you from hurting yourself. It is ideal for use on chairs, beds and car seats.
The Hip Replacement Recovery Kit also has a long-handled plastic shoehorn to help with removing, or helping your feet into your shoes. It has a hooked handle and hanging loop for a comfortable hold.

We offer FREE delivery on all standard orders over £50 to mainland UK. We can deliver to non-mainland UK (and remote Scottish) locations, however there may be an additional delivery cost to these destinations and for special orders. Please contact us for details or look atour delivery page here.
Returns
On most items where returns are accepted, please ensure that the product is returned within 30 days of receipt.
Please drop us an email at heretohelp@abilitysuperstore.com or phone customer services on 0161 85 00 884 if you wish to return an item so that we know to look out for it. We will then process your refund within 14 days of receipt.
If you paid for express delivery on your original order, this cost will not be refunded.
If the order is placed directly on the website please double check that the correct details have been entered before submitting the order. Please note that if you enter the incorrect address in error and the order is sent to this address and subsequently not received, a refund will not be provided.
