The Grasshopper is a mobile positioning system that consists of 15 different shapes and forms to aid therapists in positioning children up through adolescent size.
The positioning system enables proper adaptive positions to be obtained without the use of unsanitary pillows and foam. Attach the semi-circular foam log to the base to transform it into an active therapeutic system for vestibular stimulation activities. The padded coaster base makes it easier to move the patient while maintaining adaptive support.
The adaptive positions include side-lying, prone, supine, long leg sitting, and roll sitting. Prone or supine position can be used to develop improved head control and help prevent contractures and deformities in the lower extremities by facilitating hip extension, abduction and external rotation, knee extension and ankle dorsiflexion.
Side lying enables the child to achieve a beginning midline control that is important in motor and cognitive development. Both roll sitting and long leg sitting can be used to maintain or increase range of motion.
The Grasshopper System includes: padded coaster base with locking casters (56"L x 30"W tapering to 24"W), trapezoid module (5"H x 18"L), rectangular module (5-1/2"W x 11"L x 3"H), large wedge (24"W x 28"D x 8"H), small wedge (20"W x 22"D x 6"H), accessory wedge, (2) quarter roll support, (3) side abductor modules, log (8"W x 48"L x 7"H), (2) adjustable wrap strap, hip strap, side-lyer strap, and accessory bag.

Returns
On most items where returns are accepted, please ensure that the product is returned within 30 days of receipt.

If you paid for express delivery on your original order, this cost will not be refunded.
