Plastic coated spoons provide protection for teeth and lips from utensil edges and temperature sensitivity.
While they are not recommended for those with heavy biting reflexes, these utensils can greatly benefit individuals who have sensitive mouths for whatever reason.
The harsh, potentially sharp metal in the mouth can cause discomfort, especially for users who struggle with neurological conditions or control problems. Plastic coatings have another use as well, in that they will reduce the instance of 'galvanic shock,' where metal coming into contact with a metal filling can shock the individual.
The plastic coatings are easy and the mouth and the utensils are easy to clean. They are dishwasher safe up to 80°C (180*F), however cold water washing prolongs the life of the utensil.

Returns
On most items where returns are accepted, please ensure that the product is returned within 30 days of receipt.
Please drop us an email at heretohelp@abilitysuperstore.com or phone customer services on 0161 85 00 884 if you wish to return an item so that we know to look out for it. We will then process your refund within 14 days of receipt.
If you paid for express delivery on your original order, this cost will not be refunded.
If the order is placed directly on the website please double check that the correct details have been entered before submitting the order. Please note that if you enter the incorrect address in error and the order is sent to this address and subsequently not received, a refund will not be provided.
