The responsibility of caring for an elderly, or an infirm person can be difficult, so any mobility aid that helps with that process is invaluable. For example, a vulnerable person getting out of bed unaided can result in a fall and serious injury – the Bed Leaving Alarm can minimise the risk of this happening.
The Bed Leaving Alarm is wireless and easy to set up. You simply place the sensor mat on the bed, plug the cable provided into the transmitter box and turn it, and the pager, on. You now have the reassurance that if someone attempts to get out of bed for whatever reason, the sensor mat will be triggered and a signal sent to the pager that will instantly alert you.
This versatile living aid can also be used in other situations. For example, under a doormat, which would then detect if a person needing care is trying to leave a room, or the house, unaided.
The versatility of this alarm enables a carer to carry out everyday tasks without excessive supervision, making daily living for both carer and cared for more relaxed.
This mobility aid has a nurse relay output, including a 15-min alarm delay option and a voice recorder (15 sec). The alarm is supplied with a low battery warning signal and an alarm reset button.
The Bed Leaving Alarm needs 3 x AAA batteries to work. It has a transmission range of 100 metres (109 yards).

Returns
On most items where returns are accepted, please ensure that the product is returned within 30 days of receipt.
Please drop us an email at heretohelp@abilitysuperstore.com or phone customer services on 0161 85 00 884 if you wish to return an item so that we know to look out for it. We will then process your refund within 14 days of receipt.
If you paid for express delivery on your original order, this cost will not be refunded.
If the order is placed directly on the website please double check that the correct details have been entered before submitting the order. Please note that if you enter the incorrect address in error and the order is sent to this address and subsequently not received, a refund will not be provided.
Please note that you will be responsible for both arranging the return and for the cost of postage (or courier) for returning items.
