Unlike other wheelchairs, this mobility aid has a reinforced steel construction, which creates a sturdy and reliable frame along with dual, reinforced steel cross braces. These robust steel bars give the chair unbeatable strength and additional support without compromising comfort.
This wheelchair's seat is made from a heavy-duty reinforced material, which allows a person to sit securely and comfortably in this disability aid. There’s also a back pocket included to store personal items.
For additional support and comfort, the Bariatric Steel Transport Chair also features and adjustable footrests and removeable, reversible padded armrests which allow easy access to work surfaces and uncomplicated free side transfers.
With safety at the forefront of its design, this walking aid has 30.5 cm (12 inches) rear tyres which are puncture-proof and a stepper tube making curb mounting easy for attendants.

We offer FREE delivery on all standard orders over £40 to mainland UK. We can deliver to non-mainland UK (and remote Scottish) locations, however there may be an additional delivery cost to these destinations and for special orders. Please contact us for details or look at our delivery page here.
On most items where returns are accepted, please ensure that the product is returned within 30 days of receipt.
Please drop us an email at heretohelp@abilitysuperstore.com or phone customer services on 0161 85 00 884 if you wish to return an item so that we know to look out for it. We will then process your refund within 14 days of receipt.
If you paid for express delivery on your original order, this cost will not be refunded.
If the order is placed directly on the website please double check that the correct details have been entered before submitting the order. Please note that if you enter the incorrect address in error and the order is sent to this address and subsequently not received, a refund will not be provided.
