Free delivery on orders over £40*

We offer FREE delivery on all standard orders over £40 to mainland UK, with the exception of some more rural/remote postcodes for larger items requiring a courier delivery. Please contact us for details on these postcodes or see below under the "delivery locations" heading.

If your order is made up of several items and the overall total is over £40, thereby qualifying for free delivery, and you then subsequently return some of the items which leaves the cost of the items you keep below the £40 threshold, your refund will be made for the items returned less the cost of the shipping on the item/s kept of £3.95.

We use the Royal Mail for most items and a mix of couriers including Fedex, DPD and Parcelforce for larger, bulkier items.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ANY SHORTAGES MUST BE NOTIFIED TO US WITHIN 3 WORKING DAYS OF THE DELIVERY. WE CANNOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY ERROR WITH THE ORDER OR ITEMS MISSING OUTSIDE OF THIS TIMEFRAME. WE TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS OF ALL ORDERS TO ENSURE ACCURACY OF DESPATCH.

Signatures required on delivery

For orders valued over £40 the package will usually require a signature on delivery. If no one is in when the courier/postman calls they should leave a card detailing how you can arrange re-delivery/collection from a local depot/office.

Deliveries left in a safe place

If you request that a delivery is left in a safe place (eg. a porch, garage, garden etc) then we cannot be held responsible if the item goes missing.

Refused or returned deliveries

If a delivery is refused (or returned to us, due to an incorrect address, or no one being available to accept the delivery) and then returned to us or direct to our suppliers, we reserve the right to deduct the cost of the return charge from the cost of the refund together with any restocking fee imposed on us by our suppliers (for deliveries sent direct from a supplier's warehouse).

Speed of delivery

We keep a large range of the most popular selling items in stock, however with over 12,000 products available on the website, it's unfortunately not possible to keep every single one in stock.

Items which are kept in stock are despatched the same (working) day as long as the order is placed before 2pm. Smaller items are sent using the Royal Mail post and should take around 3 working days to arrive (please allow up to 5 working days). Larger items are despatched using a variety of couriers including Fedex, DPD and Parcelforce and should arrive around 2 to 3 working days after the order is placed. The couriers' tracking systems allow full tracking by the customer, so please include your email address and mobile number when placing an order so that this tracking is available.

On items we do not keep in stock our suppliers strive to fulfil our orders within 2 working days and we then despatch on the same day as receipt which means that these items should arrive with you in 3 to 5 working days.

If your order is urgent please contact us. On items we have in stock we can upgrade your delivery to a next day delivery (if placed before 2pm) at an additional cost.

Occasionally products are either out of stock with our suppliers or have been discontinued and in these situations we will contact you as soon as we can, offering appropriate alternatives where available. If there is an extended delay with the delivery of your order we will email you to let you know and, of course, at this point you can cancel your order if you would prefer not to wait. The law states that we have up to 30 days to supply your order.

Orders placed using a white glove or specialist delivery service may take longer to arrive, these deliveries will be arranged with you directly once our delivery engineers have received your parcel.

We will keep you informed of the progress of your order through regular emails and will also confirm despatch via email.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ANY SHORTAGES/DAMAGES MUST BE CONFIRMED WITHIN 3 WORKING DAYS FROM THE DATE OF DELIVERY. AFTER THIS TIME NO ACCEPTANCE FOR MISSING ITEMS WILL BE ENTERTAINED.

Delivery locations

We deliver to mainland UK addresses and use either the Royal Mail (for the smaller items) and a mix of different couriers (including DPD, Parcelforce and Hermes) for the larger items. Items over 60cm length will be sent via courier, not by the Royal Mail due to the size restrictions of sending by the Royal Mail.

We can deliver smaller items (via the Royal Mail) to outside of these areas (including the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man) at no additional cost, however large items which require a courier delivery will incur an additional cost to cover the actual shipping costs to these locations. Postcodes impacted include (but are not limited to, as couriers amend these frequently) AB, FK, GE, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA, KW, PA, PH, ZE. PLEASE NOTE THAT SINCE BREXIT WE ARE UNABLE TO DESPATCH LARGER ITEMS, REQUIRING COURIER DELIVERY, TO NORTHERN IRELAND.

Please contact us for details and for a quote. If you place your order from these locations without checking with us first for a quote, we will contact you with the additional carriage charge. If you do not wish to proceed with your order at this point, that's fine, your order can be cancelled. We apologise for the inconvenience this causes, but unfortunately, we are charged additional costs to despatch larger items to these locations.

Unfortunately delivery to PO Box and BFPO addresses is not possible due to Royal Mail/courier restrictions.

If you choose to get an order forwarded on to an overseas address, we cannot be held responsible for any damage or errors with the item supplied. It is your responsibility.

Use of packaging materials

In line with our environmental policy, we often use recycled cartons and packaging, in an attempt to help reduce the amount of waste packaging which ends up in landfill.

Oversized items - such as the rise and recline chairs, chairs, beds and so on

Before ordering large or assembled furniture, please check dimensions of internal and external access points including doors, corridors, stairs and corners to ensure that the furniture can fit into your room of choice. If these items are returned to us as unable to fit in your chosen room the return cost (and any associated restocking charge, levied on us by our suppliers) will be deducted from your refund.

Our reclining chairs and scooters are delivered to your door as standard, but we are able to offer a white glove delivery service which includes set up and demonstration of your new product, as well as an optional removal of an old chair if needed. Please contact us for more details and a quote.
